Powered Sharpening Systems (free)

You can sharpen by hand, by power, or a combination. For those interested in power-based approaches, this program will primarily focus on two of the main alternatives, the Burke and the Drake.  Member Nancy Girard will demonstrate how she professionally sharpens using the Drake, a grinder-based system. Dave Dignam from California, will walk us through his 30 years of experience using the Burke system.  If we have time, we'll look a bit at Chipping Away's (Canada) Ultimate Honing System.
